Care instructions for Papoose felt
Papoose felt is made from 100% pure wool and is therefore cleaned in the same way as wool.
For spilled liquids
Wool is naturally water resistant and if spilled liquids are dealt with immediately, the wool will not absorb much liquid.
How to clean
Blot up liquid with a damp cloth, repeat with a clean damp cloth, let the item dry.
For dust and other dirt
Due to the scales of the wool structure, dust is trapped in the outer layers of the wool and can therefore be easily cleaned.
How to clean
* If the item is large and flat, it can be vacuumed.
* If the item is smaller and dirty, wash it gently by hand in lukewarm water with wool soap. Dry out of direct sunlight. Do not move the item too much during washing, this promotes felting.
DO NOT soak, machine wash or tumble dry. This will further feel the article and it will shrink and distort the article.
NOTE: Cuddly toys take longer to dry, so make sure the items are completely dry before using them again. It is recommended to clean them on the surface rather than submerge them completely in water.

Wood care instructions from Creative Wood Company.
We strive to have the least amount of non-natural finish on our products.
Wood is a natural material and will dry out over time.
We mainly use food safe oil to bring out the color in the wood, if your item starts to look like it needs some care it can easily be re-oiled. Coconut oil can be used or any other food safe oil.
We want all of our products to be safe for children to 'nibble' or lick, so if you need a different finish to your wood, for example more water resistant or glossy, you can simply apply a varnish or stain.
